DIRECTOR (FAMILY FILMS)
Douglas Scott Hessler is a graduate of the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. He is also an award-winning Producer/Director/Screenwriter who has worked as a Studio Executive with Cannon Films, Warner Brothers, and Disney’s Touchstone Pictures. He has supervised over 30 feature films, including many international productions from development to release. Some of Douglas’s credits as a produced screenwriter include Perfume with Dustin Hoffman and Judgment Day with Christopher Waltz, Co-Producer of Intruder, Production Advisor on Reservoir Dogs, and Studio Executive for Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Cobra with Sylvester Stallone, Barfly with Mickey Rourke and Faye Dunaway, and Missing in Action with Chuck Norris. Douglas is an internationally renowned filmmaker who will bring his vision to Edge of the Rainbow as the Director.
